The Great Outdoors
Prime, 7.30pmTonight, The Great Outdoors team (pictured left) is focusing on one of the best holiday destinations of them all; Australia. The hosts are travelling the width and breadth of our Great Southern Land looking for inspiration and ideas that will tantalise the itchy feet of every viewer.Of course, for some viewers, the best bit is the fact the team is giving the hip-pocket some much-needed respite, as the program also delivers a number of fantastic holiday deals. The locations profiled on tonight's program include Port Phillip Bay; the Brisbane Holiday Village which is a haven for children; the Observatory Hotel and Kangaroo Island. If this is not enough to inspire you to pack your bags and hit the road, then maybe Ernie Dingo's challenge to put his waistline to the test and travel the Noosa Food and Wine Trail in search of regional ingredients will.Or perhaps it will be Shelley Craft's adventure that will win you over, as she takes a bite out of the Apple Isle by boarding the Discovery for a trip up the Gordon River and into Tasmania's west coast wilderness.Cold CaseWIN, 8.35pmThe compelling series Cold Case (pictured right) continues when a fisherman finds the evidence of a young girl's death washed up on the shore in New Jersey. The four-year-old had died in 1965 and the team, in reopening the case, finds out some vital information about the girl.Rush learns she had been treated at a local hospital under a false name because she was a victim of abuse. But, because child abuse records were not kept in the 1960s, finding information about the girl is going to be hard. That is until the youngster's doctor remembers the case and provides the detectives with some important information about the child's mother. Now the question is whether this information will be enough to find the mother and, more importantly, prove the abuse.
